This video was very interesting. It featured a man going around Ketichikan, Alaska interviewing residents about taxes. One citizen, while leading a protest, tells the interviewer that because of her and her family’s financial situation, her 16 year-old daughter owed $22,000 in taxes to the state of Alaska. Another woman tells the interviewer her idea for the economy: give everybody a bunch of money and have them spend it. The problem with this idea is that this would cause a huge increase in money flowing through the economy and would ultimately lower prices and increase demand but also manufacturers would need to increase their spending as well in order to keep up with the demand
